Homemade Ventilator

Homemade Ventilator

So when the governments were scaring all of the public with Covid-19 we decided to build a homemade ventilator as the press were saying there was a shortage of ventilators in hospitals. This was another project we worked with the DMZ Group on as they always came through for us. Our version one homemade ventilator was very rudimentary as consisted of a UPVC pipe which pressed up and down on a hand held ventilator due to a small 12v motor spinning a piece of scrap wood with two bolts on the ends, When the bolts toucher the pipe, They would push the pipe downwards onto the bag ventilator. It did work and would be fine in a desperate situation. Our version two was a better option as it was run by a 12v actuator which is basically a rod that pushes back and forth. We hand the hand ventilator in the corner of a wooden built box, The actuator would push forward and back on intervals of 3 seconds which was controlled by an electronic timer that was soldered to the wiring loom of the actuator. This ventilator would run continuously with fail. At the painting service we can build, paint and Modify anything a customer needs, So Contact Us to book our services here.
